How much you feed depends on the age of your chameleon

  • Baby

    Under 3 months old

At this age, chameleons are eating as much as possible 2x a day. Usually around 40-50 tiny, extra small bugs per day.

  • Juvenille

    3-10 months old

Juvenille chameleons will usually eat 10-20 small/medium bugs once per day in the morning.

  • Sub-adult

    10-12 months old

This is the age to start cutting back to 10-15 bugs every-other-day.

  • Adult

    12+ months

At this age your chameleon is full grown and should be fed 3-5 bugs every 2-3 days depending on the size of the bug. How much you feed a female chameleon can impact how many eggs they lay.
